Okay. Back for more updates. Today I made PBS(phosphate buffer saline) buffer. Spent 1 hr plus making the solution.. After that, i adjusted the pH of the solution. It sounds easy to make buffer but the time taken to dissolve the chemicals is long.
Had sandwich for lunch. Seriously speaking, the food here is expensive. 1 packet of chicken rice cost $4.50, soft drinks are probably $2-4 and noodles are $6. It's only been 5 days and i'm already complaining. How am i suppose to survive for another 6 wks? Arg!
Right now, the weather in Perth is cold. Probably ard 14-16 degree celsius. The wind is so strong that the trees are swaying vigorously and you can even hear the sound of the wind blowing pass you. It's something we wont get to experience in S'pore.
Okay. Work just ended for me. And it's 12.45pm at Perth now. But i have to wait for another 5 hours for the others before we can leave. Think I'll be having instant noodles for dinner tonight. It's freaking cold outside. So cold that i start to shiver as soon as i'm outside.
Before i continue my research on breastmilk cells, here are some pics of the room i'm staying.
So you can imagine how small my room is with no air-con except a fan. I doubt the bedsheet has been washed cause it looks kinda old and yellow. =(
