Doing my anatomy practical right now.. This is the result of procastination of work.. Lolx..
Had an overseas ITP yesterday.. Initially i was so tempted to go to UK after the yrs 3 shared their experience with us.. But then mrs koh told me that Biotech didn't have any contacts in UK, so we're not gg there for OTIP.. Benji suggested that we could go as a class and treat it as a class outing! Lolx
Had to leave early coz of Cscc's AGM.. This yr AGM was fun but i was so nervous when it was my turn to speak.. Forgotten 50% of my speech.. Just blabber whatever came to my mind.. =x
After that we had photo taking session! Arts and cultural committee. =)
Followed by our traditional game.
Then today mr goh told us more about the OITP. There were some bad news. Firstly, our ITP clashes with chinese new yr next yr.. This means that some of us will have difficulties when it comes to placement of ITP. Secondly, RMIT University ( in Melbourne) has "kicked" us aside coz they already have sufficient students who are doing their ITP over there.. sobs! I wanted to go to Melbourne..
Now the options are Western University of Australia, Perth, Queensland, Adelaide, Flinders or Monsach.. For China, it would be Shanghai. Still got Thailand, India and Vietnam..
But the cost of goin Australia for OITP is relatively expensive.. The school will most probably subsidised $1500 but this is exclusive of our accomodation, transportation in Australia, food, etc.. Mr goh said we may have to fork out $1500 - $2000.
Oh my god! That's alot of money.. And worse still, the number of people allocated for going Adelaide is 5, for Queensland is 2 - 3. And if i wanna go to Perth, i would be fighting with the biomedical science students.. Damn sad sia.. Benji and i were so excited about goin OITP.. But now it seems that competition is very strong for us..
Worst come to worst, i go to China for OITP.. =(
But I would still prefer to go Australia.. Maybe because i don't really like China. No offences to anyone but this is what i feel.. Though everything is much more cheaper in China, i don't mind paying more to go Australia. Since it is an overseas ITP, i might as well pay more and go to a good institution.
Time seems to pass very fast this year.. It's goin to be July soon and by the time we know it, it would be the end of the year..
I'm so pissed off now!
Anger is building up within me!
